Lyon vs Brest Prediction
As mentioned, Lyon, with their controversial and fairly bizarre American owner John Textor, took the decision to sack Pierre Sage and replace him with former Lille and AC Milan boss Paulo Fonseca in January. They have remained chaotic and entertaining to watch on the pitch despite that managerial change, most recently suffering a 3-2 loss at home to runaway league leaders Paris Saint-Germain last weekend. They now face a Stade Brest side that have seen their season ruined in the last couple of weeks with a 10-0 aggregate loss to PSG in the knockout playoff round of the UEFA Champions League before a penalty shootout defeat to Ligue 2 side Dunkerque in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France in midweek. Given the visitors poor form, Lyon are firm favourites for this one.
