Luke Littler returns to action after impressing in a tough opening match against Ryan Meikle and he meets Ian White for a place in the fourth round

Luke Littler vs Ian White Prediction

Luke Littler was tested in his opening match against Ryan Meikle and there were clearly some initial nerves for the 17-year-old early on but he came through with flying colours to win 3-1.

He produced a stunning 100.85 average to win that match including a 140 average in the fourth set to clinch the win in style.

He was pretty emotional after that win so it will be interesting to keep an eye on him psychologically before, during and after this match.

He meets Ian White who stunning 29th seed Ritchie Edhouse in the second house. After receiving a bye due to Sandro Eric Sosing withdrawing with illness, White came out of the traps flying with a 88.86 average to stun 2024 European Championship winner Edhouse.

It is hard to see White causing Littler too many issues here however. Given his scoring prowess, it is hard to see White keeping up with him and we cannot see Little dropping more than one set as a worst case scenario.
