Lukasz Brzeski: Polish banger desperate for Octagon win

Lukasz Brzeski (9-5 with one no contest) comes into this UFC 310 fight having lost four of his last five bouts. The Polish heavyweight has been knocked out in two of his last three fights and it will be interesting to see how he responds after those setbacks. His only win since joining the UFC in 2022 came earlier this year in April when he picked up a decision win over Valter Walker. He does however desperately need to get another win under his belt here or his time in the UFC may not last much longer.

Kennedy Nzechukwu: Nigerian star steps up at short notice to take fight

Kennedy Nzechukwu (13-5) steps up with just three weeks’ notice to take this fight and it is only six weeks since he was last in the Octagon. He lost two opponents for that fight at UFC 308 but eventually faced Chris Barnett who he knocked out in the first round so he is fit, fresh and ready to go again. That win was much-needed after two successive losses and he will look to follow that win up and make it back-to-back victories here.

Lukasz Brzeski vs Kennedy Nzechukwu Prediction

It is rare for a late replacement fighter to come into a bout as the heavy favourite but that is exactly the case for Kennedy Nzechukwu. The Nigerian powerhouse will have seen this as an excellent opportunity to get back into the Octagon and rack up another win and it will be interesting to see if it pays off.

There is every chance that it will. Lukasz Brzeski has struggled since joining the UFC with four losses in five and that is clearly due to the step up in quality. He has not risen to the levels required and he has been exposed so far.

The feeling is that the same will occur here. Nzeckukwu has the power and experience to cause him all kinds of problems, and while he has power of his own to concern anybody, another loss – and likely a KO/TKO – is on the cards.

Prediction: Kennedy Nzechukwu to win by KO/TKO
