Lugano vs Pafos Prediction

In what has been an impressive season domestically as Lugano sit at the top-of-the-table in the Swiss Super League, they are looking to continue a strong UECL campaign against Pafos this week.

The Swiss league leaders come into this one, though, on the back of a shock 4-1 hammering at home to Lausanne Sport in their most recent outing at the weekend. They did, though, come from behind to defeat Legia Warsaw by two goals to one in the Polish capital last week.

They now face a Pafos side that, with Unai Emery’s former long-time assistant coach Juan Carlos Carcedo at the helm and a squad with a few recognisable names, are top-of-the-table in Cyprus and comfortably defeated Celje by two goals to nil in the UEFA Europa Conference League last week.

We have two domestic league leaders with Switzerland’s current finest taking on Cyprus’ top dogs with two proactive sides in good positions in the UECL so a fun game for the neutral may be in store.
