Luca Nardi vs Flavio Cobolli Prediction

Luca Nardi had to come through two rounds of qualifying to reach the main draw and the Italian can take great heart from those performances. He had to battle through two three-setters against Daniel Masur and Facundo Diaz Acosta and he came from a set down in both of those matches.

He now meets compatriot Flavio Cobolli who he has played once before. They played in 2023 at the Next Gen Finals and it was Nardi who got the win that time.

Cobolli will be fired up and determined to avenge that loss. He comes off representing Italy in the United Cup and he will be focused on doing well this week to carry some momentum into the Australian Open.

Cobolli should be suitably motivated to get the win here and we do not read too much into that previous loss to Nardi. He made great strides last year and he can show how far he has come with a victory here.
