Lorenzo Sonego arrives in Madrid still searching for a first win on clay this season. 

The Italian is currently on a three-match losing streak that includes defeats in Marrakesh and Monte Carlo at the first hurdle. 

It has been a similar story for Miomir Kecmanovic who has only won two tour-level matches since lifting the title at Delray Beach in February.
