Loma Lookboonmee vs Istela Nunes Prediction
Loma Lookboonmee returns to action having won her last three fights in the UFC but it is almost 14 months since her last fight in February 2024. She was due to face Ariane Carnelossi at this event but she withdrew so now she faces Istela Nunes on just a couple of weeks’ notice.
Nunes comes in for her first bout in almost two years as she has not fought since July 2023. The Brazilian has lost her last four fights but she jumped at this opportunity to fight Lookboonmee at short notice and will hope it pays off.
It is difficult to find a route to victory for her however against Lookboonmee. The Thai fighter is a class above Nunes and even if she had a full camp, it would still be hard to make a case for her after so long out of action. Expect Lookboonmee to win and we would not rule out a stoppage neither.
Prediction: Loma Lookboonmee to win
