Leigh Leopards vs Wakefield Trinity Prediction
Leigh Leopards must still be smarting after their defeat at the hands of Hull KR and specifically the manner of it, a 30-0 thrashing which was their first loss of this season’s Super League. Having stewed on events at Craven Park, don’t be surprised to see the Leopards take out their frustrations on Wakefield Trinity.
The visitors have proven capable of some big results already this campaign, especially on the road where they have taken down Warrington Wolves in Super League and Huddersfield Giants in the Challenge Cup. Aside from a beating by St Helens, the rest of their Super League defeats have been close fought affairs and the same is expected here.
Wakefield’s pedigree on the road makes them a huge banana skin for Leigh, but Adrian Lam will have his side fired up after that ‘nilling’ last Sunday and a strong response is expected. Therefore, consider backing a narrow home victory for the Leopards.
