Leeds Rhinos Team News: Oledzki returns

Leeds Rhinos will have prop Mikolaj Oledzki back available for this game following his suspension that saw him miss his side’s win over Huddersfield Giants last time out. He takes the squad place of Jack Smith.

Squad: Lachie Miller, Harry Newman, Ash Handley, Ryan Hall, Matt Frawley, Mikolaj Oledzki, Keenan Palasia, James Bentley, James McDonnell, Jarrod O’Connor, Sam Lisone, Morgan Gannon, Cooper Jenkins, Jake Connor, Tom Holroyd, Jack Sinfield, Alfie Edgell, Tom Nicholson-Watton, Riley Lumb, Kallum Watkins, Presley Cassell

Hull KR Team News: Injuries hamper visitors

Hull KR are set to be without a couple of key names through injury, not least Tom Davies. A shoulder injury rules out the winger and Joe Burgess also won’t feature after failing a head injury assessment.

Squad: Peta Hiku, Oliver Gildart, Tyrone May, Mikey Lewis, Sauaso Sue, Jez Litten, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Dean Hadley, James Batchelor, Elliot Minchella, Sam Luckley, Jai Whitbread, Jack Broadbent, Danny Richardson, Kelepi Tanginoa, Jack Brown, Leon Ruan, Arthur Mourgue, Lee Kershaw, Bill Leyland, Zach Fishwick

Leeds Rhinos vs Hull KR Prediction

Leeds Rhinos will no doubt look to try and take advantage of the personnel missing on Hull KR’s side in a bid to make it three wins from three in Super League. Most impressive about the Rhinos’ recent form has been their defence, which has conceded just six points over the course of those last two victories against Salford Red Devils and Huddersfield Giants respectively.

Hull KR may be on a high after that win over their biggest rivals but this could easy prove a case of ‘after the lord mayor’s show’ for Willie Peters’ side, who are taking on a mean backline who could easily end up frustrating them. Throw in home advantage on the side of Leeds and backing the Rhinos warrants serious consideration here.
