Le Havre Preview: Deceptive Digard
Former Middlesbrough midfielder Didier Digard got good performances at the start of interim spell in charge of Nice before fading and performances started well in charge of Le Havre this season, too, but results never really came and they are now badly struggling.
Le Havre begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting in the bottom two and the automatic relegation places. The home team come into this one on the back of back-to-back defeats with a 1-0 loss at home to Angers before losing by two goals to one to Nice last weekend.
Strasbourg Preview: Pressure on Rosenior
Former Hull City coach Liam Rosenior remains under pressure in charge of Strasbourg despite the fact the Alsace-based club did manage to earn themselves a goalless draw against Stade de Reims last weekend with a much-improved performance at Stade de la Meinau.
The visitors, aside from that goalless draw against Reims, have been generally entertaining to watch throughout the Ligue 1 campaign. Their 14 matches so far this season have seen them win just three games but there has been a combined total of 49 goals.

Le Havre vs Strasbourg Prediction
Didier Digard is a manager who has tried to implement a progressive passing style of football in charge of Le Havre but they are fairly limited in attacking areas of the pitch. They are the joint lowest scorers in Ligue 1 but are ‘due’ a high-scoring affair against a Strasbourg side that have been entertaining and uncontrolled at both ends of the pitch. Both sides will fancy their chances of getting a victory, too, so both teams scoring looks a good bet for this one.
