It has been some week for Laslo Djere and the Serb 29-year-old will be fired up to win his first title on the ATP Tour since October 2020. He has lost three finals since that win and he will be seriously motivated for this one.

He will take plenty of confidence after he eliminated the top seed on Saturday in the semi-finals. He beat Francisco Cerundolo 6-1 4-6 6-3 and now he comes up against another Argentine in Sebastian Baez.

Baez is the defending champion in Santiago and just like in Rio last week, he will be hoping to win back-to-back titles in Chile.

The 24-year-old will be feeling unbeatable right now and he really does love this part of the tour. He comes off a 6-1 3-6 6-2 win over compatriot Camilo Ugo on Saturday and now he will be aiming to retain his crown.

We like Djere this week but it is virtually impossible to go against Baez right now. Combined with the fact he has won both their previous meetings on the ATP Tour, we have to favour Baez to win back-to-back here.
