Austian Bundesliga side LASK have endured a surprisingly difficult UEFA Europa Conference League campaign with just two points collected from their five matches so far ahead of now facing one of the great overachievers of this season, Icelandic champions Vikingur Reykjavik.

LASK vs Vikingur Reykjavik Prediction

LASK have been upwardly mobile for much of the last decade but are set to have their UECL elimination confirmed this week as they welcome an overperforming Vikingur side to Austria.

The Austrians come into this one on the back of a winless five-game stint in this season’s UEFA Europa Conference League league phase campaign thus far. They were annihilated by Fiorentina last week, losing by seven goals to nil at the Artemio Franchi in Florence.

They now face a Vikingur Reykjavik side that, coached by former Bolton Wanderers forward Arnar Gunnlaugsson, have stunned most of Europe to sit in the top 24 ahead of this final match day. They were beaten 2-1 by ten-man Djurgarden in Iceland last week, though.

LASK will want to show some pride but it has been a horrible campaign both domestically and on the continent this season with a double chance bet in favour of Vikingur potentially good value.
