Kenya vs Gabon Prediction

Kenya began 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification with a loss to Gabon before earning three draws and a victory in their next four matches, whilst Gabon have since continued to be strong and have managed four wins with one defeat in their opening five matches.

The Kenyans rescued a point in dramatic circumstances against The Gambia at the Alassane Ouattara Ebimpe Olympic Stadium in the Ivory Coast the other day with the Gambians going 2-0 up as well as then 3-2 up late on before Kenya came back to earn a 3-3 draw with Central Coast Mariners striker William Wilson notching a 96th minute equaliser.

The Gabonese, captained by former Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, have earned four victories with a draw to compete with African champions the Ivory Coast for automatic qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. They most recently hammered Seychelles by three goals to nil the other day.

Both sides have been quite entertaining to watch of late and that means it could be an open affair for this one at the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi this weekend.
