Kazakhstan vs Switzerland Prediction

After being hit for 22 points combined across two matches that both ended in defeats, Kazakhstan showed a dramatic improvement against Slovakia losing 5-4 but only after overtime. That performance should give their players the belief that they can compete at this level of ice hockey and a victory over Switzerland would see them qualify for the last eight, which very little people expected pre-tournament.

Switzerland are coming off the back of three straight losses and simply must improve. This is the main fixture they would’ve seen as the winnable one. However, the Swiss cannot afford to be slack defensively. If Switzerland settle into the game early one and cut out any individual efforts, then they are expected to wind up too good for Kazakhstan.
