Karolina Muchova vs Iga Swiatek Prediction

Czech star Karolia Muchova has been relatively comfortable en route to the round of 16 so far as she has beaten Elisabetta Cocciaretto and Katerina Siniakova in straight sets.

She now faces a really tough test as she comes up against Iga Swiatek. The second-seed has beaten her in their last three meetings including in the United Cup at the start of the year so Swiatek has clearly had the edge there.

Swiatek has been in formidable form in her first couple of matches dropping just four games in total against Caroline Garcia and Dayana Yastremska.

This will be a real step up in quality for her too in terms of opponents faced but Swiatek will be confident given her dominance over Muchova in recent matches. Swiatek edges Muchova in so many areas and there is no reason to believe Swiatek will not progress here.
