Kamil Majchrzak vs Jesper de Jong prediction

Qualifier Kamil Majchrzak maintained his dominance in his head-to-head with world number 55 Jaume Munar as the Spanish fifth seed's recent good form deserted him.

Majchrzak cruised through a 6-4 6-3 victory over former quarter-finalist Munar to stretch his lead to 3-0 in the match-up and make it three wins out of three in Marrakesh so far this week.

The Polish world number 122's reward is a first ever meeting with Jesper de Jong after the Dutchman eased past Moroccan wildcard Elliot Benchetrit by a 7-5 6-1 scoreline.

De Jong did not face a break point and was perfect at the net as he stretched his recent record to 8-2 on clay, but he will be well aware that Majchrzak will offer a step-up in class. 

Majchrzak benefitted from Munar's troubles with his first serve but is unlikely to receive such charity from De Jong and we are anticipating a real battle between two in-form players.
