Jiri Lehecka vs Sebastian Korda prediction

Jiri Lehecka arrives in Monte Carlo hoping a switch to clay will help end a run of four straight defeats. 

The Czech missed Monte Carlo last year but did reach the semi-finals in Madrid in his only Masters 1000 appearance on the dirt during the 2024 clay swing. 

In contrast, Korda will be buoyed by some solid results on hard courts, following up a January final in Adelaide with a run to the last eight in Miami that was only ended by 24-time major winner Novak Djokovic. 

This will be the second meeting between the two players with Lehecka triumphing 6-2 6-1 in the semi-final of his title charge in Adelaide last year. 

Both players have similar game styles and it’ll be all about who has adapted to clay the quickest in practice leading into this one.
