Jiri Lehecka vs Li Tu Prediction

Having won the 2025 Brisbane International earlier this month, Jiri Lehecka's confidence must be sky-high when considering that it was only his second ATP title triumph. Lehecka's best Grand Slam finish across his career so far came at the Australian Open, the Czech star making the quarter-finals in 2023.

Adelaide-born Li Tu will have the benefit of the Aussie crowd being right behind him and he’ll look to use this as momentum in his favour. But this is his first appearance in the main draw since 2021 and there’s no doubt that he is a huge underdog. Although his last major Grand Slam appearance did see him take a set off Carlos Alcaraz in defeat at the US Open.

Li Tu could well take a set of Lehecka here, but over the course of this match, the quality of Lehecka really should shine through and any outcome other than victory for him would be considered a big shock.
