Jessica Pegula vs Barbora Krejcikova Prediction

Jessica Pegula was out of sorts on Sunday as she lost to Coco Gauff 6-3 6-2 and she will be looking to raise her game significantly.

She only managed to win 29% on her first serve and that saw Gauff break her five times in the match. Her return game was solid enough and she managed a couple of breaks herself but she will have to serve better to have any chance of winning here.

Barbora Krejcikova started well against Iga Swiatek on Sunday winning the first set and going 3-0 up in the second but Swiatek hit her stride and fought back to win in three sets.

Krejcikova played relatively well but it was as much down to Swiatek’s slow start as anything else and then she completely outplayed her.

Neither of these players come into this one with any real form behind them so that makes it tougher than usual to analyse. Krejcikova showed a bit more in her opening match but it is hard to see Pegula playing as poorly as she did in her opener and we just lean towards her to get the win.
