Jeffrey de Graaf vs Paolo Nebrida Prediction

Jeffrey de Graaf was in dreamland on Sunday night as he pulled off a magnificent 3-0 win over Gary Anderson to dump out the 14th seed.

De Graaf was impressive with a 95.56 average and that was an improvement on his 92.30 in his first-round win over Rashad Sweeting in the first round.

He now meets Paolo Nebrida who is flying with confidence after he stunned 19th seed Ross Smith; also by a stunning 3-0 scoreline.

The Philippine star edged past Jim Williams in the first round and was a little fortuitous with his opponent missing plenty of chances to win that match. There was no luck involved in the win over Smith however as he fully deserved the win against his under-performing opponent.

He now meets De Graaf in what should be a highly entertaining match-up. De Graaf has to be favoured here given how well he is playing. It is hard to imagine Nebrida hitting the heights once again in a slightly longer best-of-seven format and we like De Graaf to be just a level above to get the win.
