Jasmine Jasudavicius: Canadian riding three-fight win streak

Jasmine Jasudavicius (12-3) comes into this bout after arguably the best win of her career as she submitted Ariane da Silva in a Performance of the Night display back in November. That was her third successive victory in the Octagon which has seen her move up to number 12 in the flyweight division rankings and the 35-year-old will look to break into the top ten with a win here.

Mayra Bueno Silva: Change in weight class for ex-Bantamweight contender

Mayra Bueno Silva (10-4-1 with one no contest) has lost her last two fights and she needs to halt this slide if she is to stay relevant in the UFC. After a Performance of the Night win over Holly Holm that was subsequently overturned due to a positive test in July 2023, she has since lost her last two fights. The first was a title shot against Raquel Pennington at UFC 297 and then she was TKO’d by Macy Chiasson at UFC 303. She now moves to flyweight from bantamweight hoping the change in weight class will lead to a change in fortunes.

Jasmine Jasudavicius vs Mayra Bueno Silva Prediction

Two fighters meet with their careers going in different directions but both need a win to stay on track. Jasudavicius is making strides in the division and another win here will catapult her into the top ten in the rankings. Bueno Silva has changed weight class but needs a win to stop the slide she is on.

It is hard to go against Jasudavicius’ momentum here. She is looking better with every fight and she has shown an improvement as she has fought better fighters.

Bueno Silva is struggling in recent bouts and looks to have lost her edge a little. She comes off her first TKO loss of her career so it will be interesting to see how she recovers from that.

We lean towards Jasudavicius here and a decision win is most likely.

Prediction: Jasmine Jasudavicius to win by decision
