Jannik Sinner vs Tristan Schoolkate Prediction

It was not all plain sailing for Jannik Sinner in his first-round match with Nicolas Jarry but he came through it in straight sets.

Sinner only managed a first serve percentage of 57% but he did win 83% and 71% on his first and second serve respectively so it did not cost him but he will have to improve on that first serve percentage.

The defending champion now faces Australian 23-year-old Tristan Schoolkate in the second round who managed to overcome Taro Daniel on Monday. After losing the first set on a tiebreak, he bounced back and won the next three to win in four.

Ranked 173 in the world, it is hard to make a case for Schoolkate here and Sinner is likely to improve and raise his game based on his first match. We expect a ruthless Sinner here and a straight-sets win is on the cards.
