Jan-Lennard Struff grafted in his first-round match to overcome Manuel Guinard 7-5 7-6 but he will not have been happy to be broken three times by the unseeded Frenchman.

He will have to improve as he takes on another Frenchman in Hugo Grenier who is playing well this week.

He came through two rounds of qualifying – both of which went to three sets – and then he beat compatriot Arthur Gea 7-5 6-4 to progress to the round of 16.

Struff is a reasonably heavy favourite here but we do not love him at those odds. Grenier will compete and pose him some problems and he is the more appealing play at these odds. Consider the total games market in this one or leave it alone completely.
