Jamall Emmers vs Gabriel Miranda Prediction

We have a really interesting stylistic matchup on the prelims as Jamall Emmers takes on submission-specialist Gabriel Miranda. Both fighters are coming off knockout losses so it will be interesting to see who handles that the best and can bounce back.

Emmers’ has had a year since his last fight while Miranda’s knockout came in September so we prefer the longer time to recover in this situation.

Emmers is also a little more accustomed to bouncing back following losses in the UFC and he has typically done that well.

The question to this fight will be whether Emmers can avoid takedowns that Miranda will inevitably aim for, and if he can have some success with his striking. Miranda’s last two losses in the UFC have come by knockout and his chin is clearly fragile.

16 of Miranda’s 17 wins have come via submission and that route is seemingly his only way to win. He has been shown to have a fragile chin and he has never won on the scorecards as he is somewhat one dimensional.

He will always have the chance of winning by submission given how dangerous he is on the mat, but Emmers has to be favoured with his solid knockout power or will surely take the decision if it does go the distance.

Prediction: Jamall Emmers to win by KO/TKO or decision
