Jai Herbert vs Chris Padilla Prediction

England’s Jai Herbert comes into this fight with just three wins from his last eight in the Octagon but he has fought some quality opponents during that time. Defeats have come against Renato Moicano, Ilia Topuria and Fares Ziam but he can take heart from the fact that he has competed extremely well. He comes off a unanimous decision win over Rolando Bedoya in August and he will be hopeful of following that up to make it back-to-back wins in the UFC for the very first time.

American Chris Padilla is riding a five-fight win streak and has won both of his fights in the UFC since joining the promotion. He submitted James Llontop in April before going on to TKO Zhu Rong in September. He has great momentum behind him and he will be looking to pick up another win and kick on in the UFC.

That may be easier said than done against such an experienced operator like Herbert. The bookmakers have this fight almost even and it is arguably the most competitive on the entire card at UFC London. We are leaning towards Herbert and we like the fact that he has experience and home support on his side. In a close fight with very little separating the two men, those are key factors on Herbert's side that just make us favour him.

Prediction: Jai Herbert to win
