Jacob Fearnley vs Alexander Zverev Prediction

After gaining direct entry into a Grand Slam tournament main draw, Jacob Fearnley is making the most of his opportunity. After beating Nick Kyrgios in a high-profile opening round match, he then came back from a set down to beat Arthur Cazaux in four sets on Wednesday.

It does not any easier for the 23-year-old Brit as he now comes up against second-seed Alexander Zverev in the third round.

The 27-year-old German has started his Australian Open campaign in supremely confident fashion have beaten both Lucas Pouille and Pedro Martinez in straight sets. His win over Martinez was particularly impressive as he lost just six games across the three sets.

The two-time semi-finalist is looking incredibly strong and while he has yet to play against Fearnley, he will be confident against the Brit. It is hard to see Fearnley being able to match Zverev for long enough and we fully expect this to be the end of the road for the world number 92. Expect Zverev to win and likely in straight sets once again.

Jacob Fearnley vs Alexander Zverev Tip: Alexander Zverev to win 3-0 or 3-1
