JACK SHORE: WELSHMAN COMING OFF NASTY LEG WOUND

Jack Shore (17-2) is coming off a TKO loss as the doctor stopped his bout against Joanderson Brito who inflicted a nasty leg wound on the Welshman. He has had six months to recover from that and he will hope it has healed well as it is likely to be a target for opponents. He will look to rebound and get back to winning ways after suffering his only two career losses in his last three fights.

YOUSSEF ZALAL: MOROCCAN DEVIL ON FIVE-FIGHT WIN STREAK

Youssef Zala (15-5-1) is on an impressive five-fight win streak and he will be looking for his third win in just over seven months here. He has produced stoppages in all five of those fights with two TKOs followed by submissions in his last three with four coming in the first round. Zalal is on a tear and he will know that a win here will make the UFC matchmakers sit up and take notice on his impressive streak.

JACK SHORE VS YOUSSEF ZALAL PREDICTION

Two highly promising fighters meet in the featherweight division with both needing a win to catapult them in the division.

Both Shore and Zalal have shown some really good promise and the latter especially is making some waves with the manner of which he is winning his fights.

If he can do the same here against Shore, that will certainly make something of a statement and we really like what we have seen from Zalal so far in his short UFC career. He has added impressive technical to his aggression and that makes him a really dangerous opponent.

Zalal’s confidence is such right now that we could see him powering to another victory here. That may be underestimating Shore, who is an excellent technician, but we can see Zalal getting another stoppage win in this one.

PREDICTION: YOUSSEF ZALAL TO WIN BY KO/TKO OR SUBMISSION
