Israel Preview: Valiant point
Ran Ben Shimon is in charge of an Israeli side that have overperformed to reach League A of the UEFA Nations League. Nicknamed ‘the Chosen Team’, Israel are on the verge of having automatic relegation confirmed this weekend but they are three points behind Belgium.
The Israelis come into this one on the back of a goalless draw with France at the Parc des Princes in Paris the other day. That impressive result came on the back of suffering four successive defeats.
Belgium Preview: Tedesco under pressure
Domenico Tedesco has dealt with in-fighting and then fighting between himself and key players with Belgium significantly underperforming. They were knocked out in the Round of 16 of UEFA EURO 2024 with a 1-0 defeat to France over the summer.
Tedesco is under immense pressure in charge of the Belgian national team. The Red Devils were beaten 1-0 by Italy the other day and could actually be caught by Israel and automatically relegated to League B this weekend.

Israel vs Belgium Prediction
This one is being played in the neutral venue of Hungary due to the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine. That would give most teams an edge knowing they are on neutral territory but for all of the remaining quality, this Belgium side is bang average in relative terms to what they have been before. Israel have shown an ability to frustrate France during this break and Belgium have shown they are falling rapidly from the upper echelons of Europe’s international scene. It would be a good value bet to back against Belgium coming out on top.
Israel vs Belgium Tip: Double chance – Israel to win or draw
