Islamabad United vs Lahore Qalandars prediction

Lahore Qalandars endured a rare off-season in 2024 by their terrifically high standards following back-to-back titles prior to that. Any team with the likes of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf and Fakhar Zaman are likely to be extremely strong and motivation if very high on the side of Lahore after failing to do themselves justice last year.

Islamabad United finished as champions last time out despite finishing third-place in the league stage as they rode the momentum wave through the play-offs, winning both eliminators and then the final, beating Multan Sultans by two wickets in a thriller.

The formidable bowling attack of Lahore has something to prove this year and they’ll be likely to start on the front foot in a bid to really put Islamabad United’s batters under pressure early on. It’s hard to see the Qalandars starting like they did in PSL 9 and they are worth backing to defeat Islamabad.
