Ireland Form: Flat performance against the All Blacks
Ireland suffered their first defeat at home in over three years last weekend when they fell to a 23-13 defeat to New Zealand in a match that failed to really catch fire after much excitement in the build-up.
It’s a rivalry that has really come to life in recent years, but this one will not live long in the memory with ill-discipline costing the hosts as the All Blacks capitalised through the boot of Damian McKenzie, who kicked 18 points throughout the encounter in Dublin.

Argentina form: The real deal
Argentina continue to go from strength to strength with Felipe Contepomi’s men running out 50-18 winners over Italy last Saturday, the Pumas scoring seven tries in that contest as they re-affirmed their status as one of the top rugby nations right now.
That performance followed their excellent Rugby Championship campaign in which they registered wins against Australia, New Zealand and champions South Africa, and last year’s World Cup semi-finalists will now aim to defeat Ireland for the first time since 2015.

Ireland vs Argentina Prediction
There is contrasting morale in the two camps with Ireland coming off a defeat to New Zealand while Argentina were rampant in their defeat of Italy.
The last time these two sides met, in 2021, Ireland were emphatic 53-7 winners, but Argentina have come on leaps and bounds since then, and with victories over the top southern hemisphere nations this year, will believe they can cause an upset in Dublin.
However, Ireland are bound to raise their game with Andy Farrell demanding an improved display after last week. This could be close, but expect the hosts to emerge victorious nonetheless.
Ireland vs Argentina Tip: Ireland to win by 8-14 points
