IPSWICH PREVIEW: STILL WINLESS

Ipswich played their part in a highly entertaining seven-goal clash with Brentford last weekend, but ultimately came out on the wrong end of a 4-3 defeat at the Gtech with Bryan Mbeumo scoring the winning goal for the Bees in the dying moments.

Kieran McKenna's side are one of three Premier League teams yet to taste victory in the division this season, the others being Wolves and fellow promoted outfit Southampton, and they sit inside the bottom three heading into the weekend's action.

LEICESTER PREVIEW: LEAKING GOALS

Of the three promoted sides, Leicester have fared the best so far with Steve Cooper's men currently five points clear of Ipswich, who occupy the final relegation spot.

However, the Foxes have conceded eight goals over the past week, losing 1-3 at Nottingham Forest in the Premier League last Friday before Man Utd dumped them out of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday courtesy of a 5-2 victory.

IPSWICH TEAM NEWS: LONG LIST OF INJURIES

McKenna has a lengthy injury list to contend with and that has not been helped by Harry Clarke's suspension for his dismissal last week.

In some positive news, Omari Hutchinson is available again following a bout of illness, and Ben Johnson and Massimo Luongo have returned to training.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Muric; O'Shea, Woolfenden, Burgess, Davis; Phillips, Morsy; Burns, Hutchinson, Szmodics; Delap

UNAVAILABLE: Donacien (Injured), Tuanzebe (Injured), Greaves (Injured), Clarke (Suspended), Taylor (Injured), Ogbene (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: O'Shea (Injured), Johnson (Fitness), Luongo (Fitness)

LEICESTER TEAM NEWS: DAKA BACK IN TRAINING

Victor Kristiansen has trained and looks like he has shaken off the issue that kept him out in the last league game, while Hamza Choudhury and Patson Daka have also returned to training.

Abdul Fatawu is a doubt and needs to be assessed, but defender Jannik Vestergaard is available again after featuring off the bench in the Carabao Cup.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Hermansen; Justin, Faes, Okoli, Kristiansen; Ndidi, Winks; Buonanotte, El Khannouss, Mavididi; Vardy

UNAVAILABLE: Stolarczyk (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Fatawu (Injured), Choudhury (Fitness), Daka (Fitness), Kristiansen (Fitness)

IPSWICH VS LEICESTER PREDICTION

It wasn't so long back that Leicester emerged victorious form their battle with the other promoted side, with the Foxes coming from behind to win a 2-3 thriller away at Southampton.

Given how many goals they have been conceding recently, they may need to score that many to secure the three points here, too. Ipswich badly need to register their first Premier League win so this could very well be an open game featuring over 2.5 goals.

IPSWICH VS LEICESTER TIP: OVER 2.5 GOALS
