Inter Milan Preview: Inter’s potential
Simone Inzaghi’s Internazionale are not quite as ruthless or as efficient as they were last year when they romped to their 20th Scudetto but they remain very strong, sitting at the top-of-the-table in Serie A as well as competing in both the UEFA Champions League and the Coppa Italia.
They come into this one on the back of a surprisingly thrilling 3-2 defeat of Monza at San Siro in which Marko Arnautovic and Hakan Calhanoglu led a fight-back from 2-0 down before Greece international full-back Georgios Kyriakopoulos scored a match-winning own goal for Inter.
Feyenoord Preview: Workers of Rotterdam
In the first-leg of this tie, Feyenoord were comfortably beaten 2-0 by Inter at a hostile and raucous De Kuip in Rotterdam thanks to goals from Inter’s strike force, Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram, despite the Italian champions also missing a penalty in the second-half.
The surprise appointment of Robin van Persie has not brought immediate success for Feyenoord with that defeat against Inter being sandwiched by a goalless draw against NEC Nijmegen and then a rather frustrating week off from Eredivisie action.

Inter Milan vs Feyenoord Prediction
Inter, at their best, play very swiftly through the thirds, are relentless in their defensive pressure and utterly ruthless in attack with efficiency the name of the game all over the pitch. Even when not at their best, they still have the bulk of those characteristics and when facing a side under Van Persie that lack any sort of real cohesion or general understanding of what they are going to be moving forward, it is quite straightforward for the Nerazzurri.
