Inter Milan Preview: Nerazzurri ran rampant

Simone Inzaghi’s Internazionale have been magnificent throughout the campaign as they try to defend the title they won last season. They earned a thumping win over Lazio last weekend before defeating Udinese by two goals to nil in the Coppa Italia in midweek.

Last weekend, Inter went away to the Stadio Olimpico and hammered the Romans by six goals to nil with Hakan Calhanoglu and Federico Dimarco scoring before half-time before second-half strikes from Nicolo Barella, Denzel Dumfries, Carlos Augusto and Marcus Thuram.

Como Preview: Cesc’s Como

Former Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas is in charge of an entertaining Como side that are attempting to push away from the bottom three and the relegation places. They come into this one on the back of a famous victory against Romo at Lake Como last weekend.

The visitors defeated Claudio Ranieri’s struggling Romans by two goals to nil at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia with second-half stoppage-time goals from Alessandro Gabrielloni and Nico Paz. Their 16 games have consisted of 46 goals so far this season.

Como Team News: Couple of injuries

Como have several injury concerns ahead of their trip to San Siro this weekend with Marco Sala a doubt due to an ankle issue. Former Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno is sidelined alongside former Manchester City midfielder Maximo Perrone.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Pepe Reina; Van Der Brempt, Goldaniga, Kempf, Barba; Engelhardt, Da Cunha; Strefezza, Nico Paz, Fadera; Belotti

Inter Milan vs Como Prediction

Internazionale will take the game to Como as they did with Lazio last weekend. They are the best all-round team in the division and probably do remain favourites for the title, despite the impressive efforts of both Atalanta and Napoli. Como have been entertaining to watch but quite open at the back so Inter are heavy favourites and expected to win comfortably but it is unlikely to be a cagey affair at San Siro.
