Hull FC vs Hull KR prediction
Both these two teams have dominated over the course of this season’s Super League and sit second and first-place respectively in the table. That only adds an extra layer of spice to what should be a really exciting tussle with so much at stake. Hull FC have the all-important home advantage but Hull KR have had the better of this fixture in recent times.
The visitors have won four of the last five Hull derbies and boast a perfect 100% record across the season so far in both league and cup. Most notably, Hull KR have racked up 175 points in Super League, 74 more than their opponents here. They’ve also conceded just 44 points compared to Hull FC’s 108 points.
Hull FC defeated reigning champions Wigan Warriors in the last round, proving their ability to beat the best teams in cup competitions and they’ll need to put in another brilliant performance to come out on top here. Hull KR have looked utterly formidable throughout the entire campaign and provided they can hold their nerve in a high-pressure environment, the visitors have to be favoured to take the derby spoils.
