Huddersfield Giants Team News: Taane Milne could make first appearance

Huddersfield Giants are hoping Fiji international Taane Milne can make his first appearance for the club after joining in the off-season. The 29-year-old comes off a minor procedure on his knee and he will bolster their options as and when he is deemed ready to play. Coach Luke Robinson will be hoping Milne, who can player wing or centre, can make a significant impact and help the team get a win under their belts.

Hull FC Team News: Two changes for Cartwright

Hull FC came crashing back down to earth against Wigan last week and that loss was worsened by the news that Ligi Sao has sustained a season-ending injury. They do welcome back Amir Bourouh after concussion but they have a lengthy injury list to contend with at the moment and the loss of Sao compounds that further.

Squad: Jordan Rapana, Harvey Barron, Ed Chamberlain, Tom Briscoe, Aidan Sezer, Herman Ese’ese, Amir Bourouh, Jordan Lane, John Asiata, Cade Cust, Yusuf Aydin, Jack Ashworth, Brad Fash, Will Gardiner, Lewis Martin, Logan Moy, Denive Balmforth, Ryan Westerman, Callum Kemp, Hugo Salabio, Will Kirby

Huddersfield Giants vs Hull FC Prediction

Both teams come into this match off the back of defeats but they will know that this represents a golden chance to get some points on the board.

Huddersfield Giants have lost both matches so far but they have been competitive in both matches against Warrington and Leigh. They can take heart from this performances and there is every chance a win is around the corner.

Hull FC came crashing back down to earth last week. After their shock 4-24 win in France against the Dragons on the opening round, they were well and truly hammered by a wounded Wigan Warriors last week as they went down 4-46 at home.

They have a raft of injuries to contend with and that list is growing, and it will be interesting to see how they respond to the loss last week.

They make the short trip to Huddersfield and they can expect a fired-up Giants side too. If they do not match their intensity, it will be another tough game for Hull and we fancy the Giants to get off the mark with their first win here.
