Guinea vs Somalia Prediction

Guinea, as mentioned, have started with two victories and two draws in their four FIFA World Cup qualifying matches thus far, scoring four goals and conceding four in the process. Somalia are rock-bottom in Group G and are one of the weakest sides on the continent.

Guinea, with former Benin coach Michel Dussuyer set to take charge of his first game in charge of the ‘National Elephants’, as they are nicknamed, have some impressive players in their squad such as Serhou Guirassy up-front. They most recently defeated Guinea-Bissau by four goals to two on aggregate in the second round of African Nations Championship qualification.

They now face a Somalia side that are currently ranked 202nd in the world according to FIFA na that is just one place above their lowest ever ranking of 203rd in 2019. The Somalians most recently played last June and suffered a 3-1 loss to Botswana at Estadio do Zimpeto in Mozambique.

Guinea are not the most consistent or convincing despite their improved squad but, quite frankly, they should win this one quite comfortably against such poor opposition.
