GRIGOR DIMITROV VS KAREN KHACHANOV PREDICTION

Grigor Dimitrov has not quite been firing on all cylinders this week in Paris having needed three sets to beat Arthur Rinderknech and Tomas Etcheverry to reach this stage.

The win on Thursday evening was solid against home favourite and the crowd but Dimitrov raised his game and won a deciding set tie break. He will have to lift his game once again for this quarter-final clash with Karen Khachanov however.

Khachanov continues his impressive form in recent weeks and he comes off a straight-sets win over Alexei Popyrin on Thursday afternoon.

It is Khachanov and Jack Draper who have been the standout players in the last three weeks on the ATP tour and it finally caught up on Draper on Thursday afternoon. It is a matter of time until the same happens to Khachanov.

We sense his impressive run may come to an end against Dimitrov. The Bulgarian has won all four previous meetings against Khachanov and he has that quality in his game along with his experience to bring a halt to Khachanov’s superb form.
