TSZ TIPS
PATRICK CANTLAY
- Patrick Cantlay comes into The American Express as the second-favourite in the field but the FedEx Cup champion is capable of producing the goods to claim the title ahead of Jon Rahm with the Spaniard topping the market.
- Cantlay was fourth in the Sentry recently and he achieved that despite a slow start to proceedings but he looked in superb form during the final two rounds of that event and a repeat of that here will see him go close.
TIP: Winner e/w (9/1)
ABRAHAM ANCER
- Abraham Ancer has performed well in this event over the last two years and having achieved a top 10 finish in each of those, he makes appeal to at least repeat that feat this time around.
- Ancer is at his best when putting well and that will be key for him to enjoy any success around this course. The Mexican has shown a liking for this course based on his recent efforts and could well be in the mix for a second PGA Tour success come Sunday.
TIP: Winner e/w (40/1)
