TSZ TIPS
BERND WIESBERGER
- Bernd Wiesberger is an eight-time European Tour winner with four of those successes coming in the last 27 months and that record could be improved upon at the Cazoo Classic in Kent.
- Ryder Cup qualification is still not secure for Wiesberger but a strong performance here will bring him right into Padraig Harrington’s thoughts if he is unable to qualify for a spot outright and as the class act of this field, he can justify favouritism.
TIP: Winner (14/1)
VINCENT NORMAN
- Vincent Norman looks poised for a breakthrough on the European Tour and he can build on some solid recent performances by going close at this event with the Swede hoping to make his invitation count.
- He did not make the Hero Open last week so should be well rested ahead of this outing but with a tenth place finish at the Cazoo Open as well as ending fifth on the leaderboard at the BWM Invitational Open, the 23-year-old can make his mark with a top ten finish.
TIP: Top ten finish (3/1)
LUCAS BJERREGAARD
- Lucas Bjerregaard comes into this on the back of a good showing at last week’s Hero Open and with a T10 finish in that competition, it is a slight surprise that he is such a big price for this event.
- Available at triple figures, the Dane is a two-time winner European Tour winner and having posted an impressive 62 in the second round in Scotland last week, he looks far too big with a chance to place in his sights.
TIP: Winner (e/w) 100/1
