The Prediction

Gold Coast come into this match full of confidence, particularly against the Adelaide Crows in recent times, having won three of the last four matches between the two sides.

All three of those victories have come at their home venue which they are attempting to turn into a fortress.

Matthew Rowell has been a ball magnet so far this year averaging over 30 disposals as has Noah Anderson. In front of goals, Ben King currently sits second on the goalkickers list with ten.

For the Adelaide crows, they have had convincing performances in all three of their matches thus far. A strong victory over North Melbourne last week followed a ten-goal demolition of the Bombers a fortnight ago.

Riley Thilthorpe and Darcy Fogarty have proven accurate in front of goals, averaging three goals each per game in the early stages of the season. Possession wise, veterans Rory Laird and Matt Crouch are both averaging 25+ touches per game.

With both sides looking to play aggressive direct football, this match should see plenty of end-to-end action and a high-scoring affair is certainly on the cards with a dry track on offer.
