Ghana vs Chad Prediction

Former Borussia Dortmund assistant coach Otto Addo remains in his second stint in charge of the Ghanaian national team despite their aforementioned failure in AFCON qualification a few months ago but 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification has been a fair bit better.

The Black Stars qualified for their first ever FIFA World Cup in 2006 and then played at 2010, 2014 and 2022. They are currently sitting second in Group I, behind Comoros on goal difference. The Ghanaians have a lot of strength in attack in their squad with the likes of Jordan Ayew, Inaki Williams, Antoine Semenyo and Ernest Nuamah.

They now face a Chad side that have lost four from four in CAF’s qualifying campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scoring just one goal and conceding nine goals in those matches. Under the management of Kevin Nicaise, they are currently ranked 176th in the world according to FIFA and are one of the weakest teams in Africa.

Despite the fact Ghana remain unconvincing, this is a brilliant opportunity for them to not only gain three points but do some damage in terms of goal difference as they compete with Comoros.

Ghana vs Chad Tip: Ghana to win -1 handicap
