Gerwyn Price vs Nathan Aspinall Prediction

Despite some nine-dart heroics from Gerwyn Price last week, the second year in succession that he has achieved perfection in Manchester, he ultimately succumb to table-topper Luke Littler in the quarter-finals.

However, the Welshman finds himself third in the table heading into Rotterdam, ahead of quarter-final opponent Nathan Aspinall as well as Michael van Gerwen on leg difference.

The Iceman stayed sharp by entering both Players Championship events this week, reaching the last 16 on Tuesday, while Aspinall only entered on Monday and made it all the way to the final despite averaging under 98 in all seven of his matches.

The Stockport thrower went all the way on home turf last week to register his first nightly win of the Premier League campaign, and he is simply finding a way to win at the moment. With Price playing to a high standard, expect a close battle here in a match that could be pivotal to both players' playoff hopes.
