Gerwyn Price vs Luke Humphries Prediction

Last week in Dublin was a welcome return to form for Gerwyn Price, who stormed to victory by defeating Luke Littler, Luke Humphries and then Nathan Aspinall. That shot the Welshman up to second place in the Premier League table, and he now faces a rematch with Humphries just a week later.

Indeed, the pair have already met twice this month, with Humphries winning the first encounter in Glasgow, so that sets this quarter-final up nicely as the top two aim to cement their top-four position.

After impressing against Stephen Bunting in his opener last week, Humphries was well below his best against Price but the world number one will surely not deliver a repeat performance. We’re backing him to bounce back and progress to the semi-finals, although not without a fight from Price.
