Galatasaray vs AZ Prediction

In Alkmaar last week, AZ took an early lead via Sven Mijnans before Roland Sallai equalised for Galatasaray a few minutes later. Troy Parrott re-established AZ’s lead before that Ayhan red card and AZ then put the game to bed thanks to goals from Jordy Clasie and David Moller Wolfe.

Galatasaray have been thrilling to watch throughout the season as they attempt to defend their Turkish Super Lig title. They defeated Caykur Rizespor by two goals to one the other day thanks to a Victor Osimhen brace with their 23 Super Lig matches consisting of 82 goals, whilst their nine UEFA Europa League games have consisted of 41 goals.

AZ are currently fifth in the Eredivisie after what has been a relatively underwhelming campaign. However, they backed up their hammering of Gala by defeating PEC Zwolle by two goals to nil at the weekend to mean they have now enjoyed four successive victories across all competitions and they have suffered just two defeats in 11.

AZ and Galatasaray also played at the AFAS Stadion in the league phase in what finished up as a 1-1 draw. Gala will need to attack here and have an abundance of talent in order to do so.

Galatasaray vs AZ Tip: Order 2.5 goals
