Gabriel Diallo vs Tommy Paul Prediction

Gabriel Diallo has won two matches in qualifying and he dropped just three total games across those two matches against Rafael Da Alba (6-1 6-1) and then Mattia Bellucci (6-1 6-0).

Those wins will give him a huge confidence coming into the main draw but the Canadian 23-year-old has been handed a tough draw against third seed Tommy Paul.

The American plays in just his fourth tournament of 2025 but he can be pleased with his performances in the three previous tournaments.

He reached the semis in Adelaide, then the quarters at the Australian Open, and then the semis in Dallas so his form is strong.

He did meet Diallo at the US Open and won in four sets although the shorter format may slightly favour Diallo compared to that match. Even still, Paul should have too much quality and the consistency of his play should see him get the win.
