Gabriel Clemens vs Robert Owen Prediction
2023 semi-finalist Gabriel Clemens gets his PDC World Championships under way at Ally Pally in what will be his seventh appearance in the tournament. His run to the semis in 2023 was undoubtedly his best performance so far but he also reached the fourth round back in 2021.
He comes into this edition ranked 27 in the world and it is fair to say that he has slowed down a little and not had the best of years so far. He will be hoping to put together a run this time around and end the year on a high.
He meets Robert Owen who did well to beat Niels Zonneveld 3-1 in the first round on Monday. His average of 91.64 which was solid enough and he just edged the key moments to make the difference. That was his first win at Ally Pally and it will certainly have given him a taste for more success.
He will fancy his chances of causing an upset here given Clemens average performance this year. The big German will be desperate to make a good start though and we just favour him to edge this one. This match could very well go the distance but we fancy Clemens to win and throw the most 180s.
Gabriel Clemens vs Robert Owen Tip: Gabiel Clemens to win and throw most 180s
