Fulham Preview: Entertaining Cottagers

Fulham come into this one on the back of back-to-back 2-1 wins away from home with the first of those coming from behind at St James’ Park a couple of weeks ago against Newcastle United before an FA Cup fourth round win against League One side Wigan Athletic last weekend.

That means the Cottagers have now suffered just two defeats in their last 13 matches across all competitions as they try and qualify for UEFA competition next season. They begin the weekend sitting tucked inside the top-half of the Premier League table.

Nottingham Forest Preview: Hard-fought cup win

In midweek, Nottingham Forest were taken to a penalty shootout in the fourth round of the FA Cup against League One side Exeter City. Josh Magennis’ brace for the Grecians caused a long night for Forest which will not have been welcomed as they chase a top four finish.

After losing to AFC Bournemouth by five goals to nil at the Vitality Stadium last month, Forest bounced back by annihilating Brighton and Hove Albion by seven goals to nil at the City Ground to mean they begin this match day sitting six points clear of Manchester City in fifth.

Fulham vs Nottingham Forest Prediction

In their 24 matches so far this season, there have been a combined total of 68 goals in Fulham games. They play an entertaining style of football with Marco Silva always seeking to play an attacking and front foot way first and foremost. Nottingham Forest have built their success this season on efficient and slick counter-attacking football so if Fulham do intend to once again dominate the ball and assert their control then that could help Forest in a game that could end up being quite fun to watch at Craven Cottage.
