The prediction

The Fremantle Dockers wasted a golden opportunity to entrench themselves in the top eight by falling to the previously winless Melbourne Demons. This will again raise questions about their ability to win games they should be competitive in away from their home track.

The Adelaide Crows beat the GWS Giants by 18 points in a low scoring affair in Adelaide. What was expected to be a high scoring shootout was one of the lowest point total scoring games of the year with Adelaide coming out on top 52 to 34. The Crows now sit within one win of the first placed Magpies and have improved their credentials in the past month by showing they can match it with the competitions top teams.

The Crows record travelling to the West has been poor, winning only three times since 2009. The 2025 version of the Crows however are going much better than the Dockers at present, and we think they can get a result this time.
