Heidenheim Team News: Honsak may start after goal last weekend

Freiburg vs Heidenheim Prediction

Heidenheim travel to Freiburg on the back of three straight Bundesliga losses which has cemented their bottom three status. With four points now separating them from safety, Frank Schmidt’s side are in a world of trouble heading into this latest round of fixtures and desperately need to start picking up points.

Prior to last weekend, Freiburg had suffered three successive league defeats themselves which has left them outside the European places. However, a much-needed win over Bochum last time out put them back into contention and depending on other results this weekend, Freiburg could find themselves in the top six with victory here.

With home advantage in their favour, Freiburg should dominate against what is sub-par opposition lacking confidence and quality. Whilst complacency cannot be afforded and Heidenheim will no doubt fight for their lives, Freiburg are expected to prove too strong for them over the course of this encounter.
