Francisco Cerundolo vs David Goffin prediction

Francisco Cerundolo continued his fine progress at the BMW Open, making it through to the quarter-finals with a 6-3 6-2 win over Alexander Shevchenko. The Argentine said after the match that his serve and forehand deserted him for parts of the encounter, but he was still pleased with the variety he showed in his game.

Now 19-8 for 2025, he is the first player to reach six ATP Tour quarter-finals this season. He will take on David Goffin for a place in the final four. Goffin recovered from a nightmare start to take down Mariano Navone 0-6 7-5 6-1. The former world number seven has reached his first quarter-final on clay since he picked up the title in Marrakech three years ago.

Goffin has done well to get this far in the tournament but Cerundolo, despite admitting not being at his best, has been rarely troubled in his first two matches so far and we can’t see anything other than another routine win for the Argentine.
